Fogo De Chao [26 Feb 2007|10:15pm] Charles and I haven't been on a really nice date in a really long time. Actually, I don't even think that there was a time where we've been anywhere really nice, dressier, and more high class. We haven't been able to do anything like this in awhile since he goes to Nursing school so far away. We were supposed to go to Texas De Brazil last weekend, but we ended up wanting to wait and go to Fogo De Chao in downtown Chicago. I think the whole atmosphere of Chicago and being downtown makes it even more memorable. Fogo De Chao is a South Brazilian Restaurant, and it was soo amazing! There were 14 different entrees of different prepared meat. I loved the filet mignon, it was delicious=) The waiters/servers were so attentive and always making sure you had everything you needed. The salad bar was equally amazing, the chicken salad was the best that I have ever tasted! We had a really great time, we just laughed and talked, and ate ate ate til we couldn't zip up our coats literally. It was nice getting spend time with just him. It was our late Valentine's/Anniversary date and I couldn't have been happier. He spend 4 days with me at school, so just waking up to his face in the morning and going to sleep with him at night made me feel so complete. I've been on this weird marriage kick lately, it's all that "Whose Wedding Is it Anyways" and "Engaged and Underaged" thing that is brainwashing me. I know we're not getting married for a longgg time down the road, at least not til he finishes his masters. But a girl can dream and plan can't she? post comment

[20 Feb 2007|07:15pm] Last Thursday, I was seriously sick beyond belief. I was dizzy and feverish, I think I ate something wrong. I cried a lot that day too, I think I was overwhelmed since the anatomy exam was the next day at 8am and I didn't feel prepared. At 10:30 pm, he drove 2.5hours from Charleston and came to take care of me. He even bought me Tylenol pills, and not even regular "swallowing" pills, he bought me the chewable kinds cuz he knows how much I hate swallowing pills. sweet eh? post comment
